Hi guys!!! Its been so nice to catch up with you this week! Its been forever, I know and I apologize. Most of you know what all happened in life and I just kind of withdrew from the real world for a while. Sometimes its easier that way.
Lots of exciting happenings in our household. I think I am the mother of the future Pele - lol! Bryce is really excelling in soccer and has some wonderful opportunities being presented to him. I am excited to see what some of these opportunities produce this summer. As usual, he is completely focused on sports and couldn't care less about school. He turns 7 this Saturday - somebody please tell me how in the heck that's possible? First of all it makes me feel really old, lol and secondly its scary, truly scary how fast time flies. Somebody once told me that after you have children, time seems to speed up and I thought they were crazy. Now I fully believe that is true.
We went to Universal Studios in Florida over spring break to pick up the new car so we did Bryce's main bday celebration there. He requested to eat at Emeril's Tchoup Chop so he could have sushi, he thinks he's so grown ordering sushi - lol! We'll do cake and stuff this weekend at the UFC party. He's getting a 12x6x6 metal soccer goal from us for his gift, my yard will never be the same....
One of you lovely photographers needs to kick my butt back in gear, I can't tell you the last time I took a pic other than at Universal. Its sad, really sad. Bryce has changed soooo much and its not documented, bad mom, bad scrapbooker - lol. So one of my goals for the next couple of weeks is to take some pics of Bryce and post them for you guys, you really won't believe....
I'm acutally in the mood to scrapbook. I am completely overwhelmed and don't even know where to begin or know what I have to work with. I haven't even been to that area of the house other than to dust and vaccuum since Fall - yikes!!
For those of you that know my sister and all of her struggles, she has finally gotten her BSRN and will be starting work in the ER next month. It was good to see her and her kids last weekend at her graduation. The kids begged to come home and spend the night with me and I had flashbacks of the Christmas sleepover and almost had a panic attack - heehee.
I guess that's enough rambling for one day :) I'm catching up on all of your blogs, I'm way behind so it may take me a while - please feel free to update anything big in the comments!!
